Eligibility Criteria

Scientific Officer (Ayurveda)

Essential Qualifications:

• MD in Ayurveda in any clinical branch from any University/Institution recognized by CCIM/NCISM
• Candidate should be enrolled on the Central Register of CCIM/NCISM or State Register of Ayurveda/ISM

Essential Experience:

• Minimum 02 years of clinical experience after post-graduation in patient management with integrative or Ayurvedic approaches, preferably in oncology

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. (Ayurveda) from a recognized university
• Publications in peer reviewed journals
• Strong understanding of Ayurveda fundamentals, pharmacology, formulations and their therapeutic applications in clinics
• Ability to integrate Ayurvedic treatment protocols with modern oncology care in a collaborative clinical setting
• Familiarity with regulations and ethical guidelines for Ayush/herbal medicine in integrative research
• Strong scientific writing and presentation skills for drafting protocols, reports and scientific papers
• Experience in working as part of multidisciplinary teams involving modern medicine practitioners and scientists
• Proven skills in project management and resource planning

Scientific Officer (Pharmacology)

Essential Qualifications:

• MD in Ayurveda in Dravyaguna or Rasashastra/Bhaishajyakalpana from any University/Institution recognized by CCIM/NCISM
• Candidates should be enrolled in the Central Register of CCIM/NCISM or State Register of Ayurveda/ISM

Essential Experience:

• Minimum 02 years of hands-on experience after postgraduation in Ayush/herbal drug development

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. (Ayurveda) from a recognized university
• Publications in peer reviewed journals
• Familiarity with standardization techniques and quality control methods for Ayush/herbal drugs
• Knowledge of pharmacological evaluation (in vitro and in vivo) of Ayush/herbal drugs
• Good understanding of regulatory guidelines (e.g. AYUSH, WHO, FDA) related to herbal drugs and Ayurvedic formulations
• Proficiency in identifying, cultivation conditions and processing medicinal plants for drug development and clinical research purpose
• Strong scientific writing and presentation skills for drafting protocols, reports, and scientific papers
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams
• Proven skills in project management and resource planning
• Openness to engage in both lab-based and field research
• Knowledge of intellectual property (IP) management related to Ayush/herbal formulations

Salary/Stipend

• Consolidated Salary: Rs. 78,800/- per month
• Salary Type: Fixed consolidated amount
• Applicable for: Both Scientific Officer (Ayurveda) and Scientific Officer (Pharmacology) posts
