Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Essential qualification: B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry, Physics, or Material Science with first class in both UG and PG examinations.
• Desirable qualification: GATE/NET/JRF/PhD candidates.
• The applicant should be an Indian citizen and a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
• Candidates with experience in nanocomposite material synthesis will be preferred.

Salary / Stipend

• For the first two years, the fellowship is Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated).
• For the third year, the fellowship is Rs. 28,000/- per month (consolidated).
• The terms and conditions of the research fellowship shall be as per CST-UP regulations.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit is 28 years as on 1st April of the year in which the application is submitted.
• Relaxation in age will be as per CST-UP and University of Allahabad norms.

Selection Process

• Only shortlisted candidates for the further selection process will be notified through email.
• No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing for the interview.
• Selected candidates will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.

General Information / Instructions

• The appointment is purely on temporary (contractual) basis and will terminate automatically without any notice on termination of the research project.
• Initially the appointment is for one year, which will be renewed for subsequent years based on performance and recommendation of the PI and Co-PI.
• The appointed person shall have no claim of permanent appointment or absorption in the funding agency or in the University of Allahabad.
• Appointment will be governed by the terms and conditions of the funding agency applicable to the project.
• The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of submitted information, documents, and photograph.
• Sending only resume/CV by email will not be considered as a complete application.
• Other criteria for job requirements will be followed as per norms of the University of Allahabad and CST-UP.
