Vacancy Details

• There is a proposal to engage one Teaching Associate in the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding at Agricultural College, Mahanandi for a period of 11 months from the date of joining or until the need ceases, whichever is earlier.
• The engagement is purely temporary and contractual and does not confer any right for regular appointment.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit prescribed for the post is 40 years for Master’s Degree holders and 45 years for Ph.D.
• Degree holders and women candidates. Candidates exceeding the upper age limit as per these norms are not eligible for engagement under this notification.

Salary/Stipend

The remuneration payable per month for the Teaching Associate is Rs. 61,000 plus applicable HRA for candidates with Master’s Degree and Rs. 67,000 plus applicable HRA for candidates with Ph.D. Degree in the relevant subject, as per the notification.

Selection Process

• The selection will be made through an interview conducted by the competent selection committee at Agricultural College, Mahanandi on the scheduled date and time.
• The decision of the selection committee for the above post will be final and binding in all respects, and canvassing or concealment of facts may lead to disqualification or termination of contractual engagement.

• Interested and eligible candidates have to attend the walk-in interview in person at Agricultural College, Mahanandi on the notified date and time with all original certificates and relevant documents.
• No TA/DA will be paid to candidates for appearing in the interview, and selected candidates will be required to undergo medical examination at their own expense as per rules before appointment.

Instructions

• The engagement is purely temporary and on contract basis and can be terminated at any time without prior notice or assigning any reason.
• The engaged individual will not have any claim or right for further continuation or regular appointment in the University service.
• Canvassing in any form or concealment of facts will lead to disqualification at the time of selection or termination during the contractual engagement period.
• The engaged person may leave the contractual service on their own by giving one month notice or by paying one month salary in lieu of notice.
• Selected candidates must undergo medical examination at their own expense to ensure physical fitness as per rules before appointment.
• No TA/DA will be given to the candidates for appearing in the interview.
• The Associate Dean reserves the right to cancel or postpone the interview for the said post on the scheduled date due to unavoidable circumstances.
