Eligibility Criteria
- Qualification: Varies significantly by post – Doctoral/Ph.D. for senior scientific posts (with experience and publications/research score), Master's degree (M.Sc. Ag./M.Tech/M.V.Sc. etc.) with NET for many Jr. Scientist/Subject Matter Specialist roles, Bachelor's degree for Assistants/Farm Manager/Programme Assistant, High School/12th pass for Drivers/Stenographer/Skilled Supporting Staff.
- Essential Qualification: As detailed per post (e.g., Ph.D. + experience for AL-13A/14; M.Sc. + NET for AL-10; Bachelor's/High School for lower levels). Refer Annex-A for detailed equivalents.
- Desirable Qualification: Ph.D. (where Master's is essential), relevant work experience, computer knowledge, specialization in concerned field (e.g., pulses, rainfed agriculture).
- Experience: Required for higher posts (6–10 years as Scientist/Assistant Professor etc.); desirable or mandatory support staff experience (3–4 years in relevant field/lab).
Salary/ Stipend
- Pay scales as per Pay Matrix levels mentioned in the notification.
- Academic Level-14: Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200
- Academic Level-13A: Rs. 1,31,400 – 2,17,100
- Academic Level-10 / Level-10: Rs. 57,700-1,82,400 / Rs. 56,100-1,77,500

Age Limit (as on last date of application)
- For non-teaching under various ICAR-AICRPs projects & KVK positions (L-6 to L-1): 18-30 years (General category); 18-35 years (SC/ST); 18-33 years (OBC).
- 18-35 years for widows/divorced women judicially separated and not remarried (40 years for SC/ST in this category).

Selection Process
- Shortlisting based on academic qualifications, experience, and criteria in advertisement.

- Termination: 3 months' notice or 3 months' salary in lieu.
