Eligibility Criteria for MTRDC JRF & RA 2025

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

B.Tech in Material Science/Metallurgy in first division with GATE/NET, OR
M.Tech in Material Science/Metallurgy in first division (both UG & PG), OR
M.Sc in Material Science/Metallurgy in first division with NET/GATE

Research Associate (RA)

Ph.D in Material Science/Metallurgy, OR
M.Tech + 3 years research/teaching/design & development experience + at least one research paper in SCI journal

Age Limit

JRF: Maximum 28 years
RA: Maximum 35 years
Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PH, 3 years for OBC

Selection Process for MTRDC JRF & RA 2025

Direct Walk-in Interview followed by document verification. The selection panel will remain valid for one year.

Salary / Stipend

JRF: ₹37,000/- per month + HRA as admissible
RA: ₹67,000/- per month + HRA as admissible
