ESIC Hospital Ankleshwar Full Time Specialist / Part Time Specialist and Senior Resident 2025 Vacancy Details

The total number of vacancies for ESIC Hospital Ankleshwar Full Time Specialist / Part Time Specialist and Senior Resident Recruitment 2025 is 16 posts. Department-wise vacancy distribution is as follows (reservation is as per Annexure – A in the notification):

(A) Full Time Specialist (FTS) / Part Time Specialist (PTS)

(B) Senior Resident (SR)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Full Time Specialist (FTS) / Part Time Specialist (PTS): PG Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty from a recognized University and registered with Medical Council.
• Senior Resident (SR): PG Degree or PG Diploma in concerned specialty and registered with Medical Council. In absence of PG qualified doctors, MBBS graduates with at least 2 years working experience in the concerned specialty will be considered, with preference to PG qualified candidates.

2. Experience

• FTS/PTS: Minimum 3 years experience after acquiring PG Degree or minimum 5 years experience in concerned specialty after acquiring Diploma.
• Senior Resident: Experience as per above qualification condition (MBBS with 2 years in specialty, where PG is not available).

3. Age Limit

• Full Time Specialist / Part Time Specialist: Up to 69 years.
• Senior Resident: Not to exceed 45 years as on date of interview, with relaxation for reserved categories as per rules.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected through a walk-in interview conducted at ESIC Hospital, Ankleshwar. Selection is subject to medical fitness and verification of character and antecedents, and the competent authority reserves the right to fill or not fill any post and to change the number of vacancies as per hospital requirements.

Salary/Stipend

Full Time Specialist (FTS)

• Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,35,129/- per month.
• Entitled for Transport Allowance with DA on Transport Allowance as per rules; DA revised from time to time as per rules.
• Contract tenure of 3 years with annual evaluation and yearly renewal based on satisfactory performance.
• Duty timing: 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and 09:00 AM to 01:00 PM (Saturday) with emergency visits as required.
• Available on call 24x7 and eligible for leaves and encashment as per special terms and conditions for full time specialists.

Part Time Specialist (PTS)

• Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 60,000/- per month (fixed).
• Additional Rs. 15,000/- per month as visiting charges in case of emergency calls.
• Additional remuneration of Rs. 800/- per call for every additional hour beyond 16 hours per week.
• Minimum working hours: 16 hours per week (4 hours x 4 days) or as per directions of Medical Superintendent; available on call 24x7 if drawing emergency call charges.
• Contract tenure of 1 year or till regular/FTS incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.

Senior Resident (SR)

• Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,35,129/- per month for candidates having PG Degree/Diploma.
• In addition, entitled for Transport Allowance with DA on Transport Allowance as per rules.
• Deduction of Rs. 1,688/- per month for SRs possessing only Diploma.
• Deduction of Rs. 2,813/- per month if SR does not possess Diploma/Degree.
• Working hours: 48 hours per week with rotational duties, round-the-clock availability and emergency duties as per Senior Residency Scheme.

• Report for the walk-in interview at ESIC Hospital, Near FDDI College, GIDC, Ankleshwar, Gujarat – 393002 on the scheduled date and time.
• Bring two recent passport size photographs.
• Carry original documents along with one set of attested photocopies of all relevant certificates (date of birth, SSC/Matric, qualification, Medical Council registration, caste/category certificates, disability/Ex-servicemen certificates if applicable, Aadhaar, experience certificates and any other relevant documents).
• Candidates in Government service must produce a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of interview.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview or document verification.

Instructions

• The number of vacancies may change without prior notice as per hospital requirements.
• No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in interview or joining the post.
• Selected candidates will have no claim for regularization or preference for regular appointment.
• Selected candidates must join within 7 days from receipt of selection order.
• Posts are purely contractual and may be terminated by either side with one month’s notice.
• Candidates must be registered with Gujarat Medical Council or Medical Council of India before joining.
• Reservation benefits will be given only on production of valid certificates in prescribed formats; OBC candidates must produce non–creamy layer certificate as per DoPT guidelines.
• Selected candidates have to enter into an agreement on non-judicial stamp paper of Rs. 300 and deposit Rs. 30,000 as refundable security (subject to conditions).
• Attendance will be monitored through AEBAS biometric system and remuneration will be paid strictly as per biometric attendance.
• Hostel accommodation/quarters/uniform will not be provided.
