Vacancy Details

ESIC Hospital Bhilai is recruiting 21 medical professionals on contractual basis for the positions of Specialist (Full Time and Part Time) and Senior Resident under 3-Year Residency scheme. Positions are available across 13 different medical specialties.

Eligibility Criteria

For Specialist (Full Time/ Part Time) - 9 Posts

• PG Degree/Diploma in concerned medical specialty, registered with MCI
• Preference given to PG Degree holders
• Experience Required: PG Degree with 3 years experience after PG Degree OR 5 years experience after PG Diploma
• Age: Not exceeding 69 years as on date of interview

For Senior Resident (3-Year Scheme) - 12 Posts

• PG Degree/Diploma in concerned medical specialty, registered with MCI
• If PG degree/diploma candidates not available, candidates with 2 years experience after MBBS in concerned specialty may be considered
• Age: Not exceeding 45 years as on date of interview (Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules)
• Important: Applicants having completed 3 years Senior Residency in any hospital are NOT eligible

Selection Process

• Walk-in Interview only - No written exam
• Direct interview by ESIC Hospital authority
• Candidates report at MS Office from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM
• Candidates reporting after 11:00 AM will NOT be considered
• Document verification 1 hour before interview
• All original documents mandatory for verification
• Medical Superintendent has right to fill/not fill any vacancy

Salary & Benefits

Leave Benefits: Full Time Specialist entitled to 4 days leave per month (prorata basis). Part Time Specialist not entitled to any leave.

Contract Duration: 1 year from date of joining or till regular incumbent joins, whichever is earlier. Senior Resident contract is extendable up to maximum 3 years.

Security Deposit: Rs. 30,000 (Demand Draft) in favor of ESI Fund A/c No. 01, payable at Bhilai, refundable after contract completion with "No Dues Certificate".

3. Report at MS Office, ESIC Hospital from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM
4. Bring duly filled Annexure 'A' (available on website)
5. Bring all original documents for verification:
6. - Proof of Date of Birth (Matriculation/SSC Certificate)
7. - MBBS Mark sheet & Degree Certificate
8. - PG Degree/Diploma Mark Sheet & Certificate
9. - MCI Registration Certificate
10. - Experience Certificate (if applicable)
11. - Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC (in prescribed format)
12. - Non-creamy layer certificate for OBC (prescribed format)
13. - EWS Certificate (if applicable)
14. - Aadhaar Card
15. - PAN Card
16. - NOC from present employer (if employed)
17. - 2 Passport-size photographs (Recent, color)
18. Bring one set of photocopies of all above documents (self-attested)
19. No TA/DA will be paid for interview attendance

Important Instructions

• WALK-IN INTERVIEW ONLY - No postal/online applications
• Candidates must bring original documents for verification
• Reporting after 11:00 AM will result in non-consideration
• Cut-off date for age and qualification: DATE OF INTERVIEW (25.02.2026)
• Professional indemnity insurance policy (Min. Rs. 30 lakhs for Anesthesia/Cardiac/Neuro surgeons, Rs. 20 lakhs for General Surgeons/Gynecologists, Rs. 10 lakhs for others) mandatory within 7 days of engagement
• Selected candidates must join immediately or per offer letter date
• Private practice NOT allowed (except for part-time specialists)
• Full-time specialist entitled to 4 days leave/month
• Contract must be signed on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of Rs. 500 (cost borne by candidate)
• Experience certificate NOT issued if resignation within 6 months
• SC/ST/OBC candidates must ensure valid category certificates
• OBC certificate must be of "non-creamy layer" status, not older than 1 year from interview date
