Eligibility Criteria

• Project Scientist-II: Doctoral Degree in Bioinformatics/Molecular Biology/Life Sciences OR Master's Degree in Engineering/Technology in Bioinformatics/Biotechnology/Life Sciences + 3 years relevant experience in R&D in Industrial/Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations
• Project Scientist-I: Master's Degree in Engineering/Technology OR Doctoral Degree in Life Science/Plant Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Bioinformatics or related field
• Desirable for Project Scientist-II: Experience in large-scale SNP genotyping and re-sequencing data analyses, trait mapping, construction of de novo genome assemblies, Publications in high-impact journals
• Desirable for Project Scientist-I: Knowledge of Statistical and Computational Genomics/Bioinformatics, experience in analyzing high throughput SNP genotyping data, NGS data, re-sequencing and transcriptomics data

Age Limit (as on Interview Date)

• Project Scientist-II: Maximum 40 Years
• Project Scientist-I: Maximum 35 Years
• Age Relaxation: Women (5 years), SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwD (10 years) as per GOI/ICAR rules

Selection Process

• Candidates having essential qualifications will only be considered

Salary / Stipend

• Project Scientist-II: Rs. 67,000/- + 27% HRA per month
• Project Scientist-I: Rs. 56,000/- + 27% HRA per month
• Emoluments may be paid as per satisfaction of the work by the PI and fund availability by the funding agency
