• M.E./M.Tech. in Metallurgy, Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Aerospace Engineering, Ceramics Engineering, or allied discipline with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized university/institute OR M.Sc. in any allied fields in Life Sciences/Physics/Chemistry/Materials Science/Mathematics from a recognized University/Institute with NET/GATE qualification or any ANRF-recognized national eligibility test for research fellowship OR Equivalent with first class or equivalent (in terms of grades etc.).
• Desirable: Proven experience in the related field, Good communication skills, Motivation for pursuing a PhD in area of Atomistic simulations.
