Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. degree obtained/ thesis submitted in the field of Fiber optics and waveguides along with First class M.Sc. in Physics/ M.Tech. in Electronics Engineering.
• Desirable Qualification: Candidates having published works in the domain of semiconductor core fibers and waveguides are preferred.

Salary/ Stipend

• Fellowship: ₹ 47,000 + 24% HRA (₹ 11,280) = ₹ 58,280/- per month

Age Limit (as on January 2026)

• Maximum 32 years
• Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Woman and Differently abled candidates
