Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualifications (Junior Research Fellow): B.E./B.Tech. with a minimum of 60% marks in Electrical Engineering and having a valid GATE score.
• Alternative Essential Qualification: M.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks and GATE qualified.
• Desirable Experience: Experience in Power Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics and related fields is desirable/preferred.
• Desirable Skillsets: Knowledge of renewable energy systems, microgrids, and carbon emission studies.
• Desirable Skillsets: Familiarity with AI/ML techniques (Python, MATLAB, etc.) for application in Electrical Engineering.
• Desirable Skillsets: Experience in data handling, simulation tools, and research writing.

Salary/Stipend

• Emolument for Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 40,000/- per month (Consolidated).

Age Limit 

• Upper age limit: Up to 28 years as on the last date of application.
• Age relaxation: Applicable as per Government of India (GoI) norms.

Selection Process

• The Principal Investigator (PI) may restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit by considering qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be communicated through email to appear for the interview.
• No compensation will be allowed to appear for the interview.
• It is expected that the candidate will not leave in the middle of the project.
