Eligibility Criteria for IIT Delhi Project Scientist - I 2025

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:

• PhD in Water Resources with First Class, OR
• MTech in Water Resources plus 4 years of relevant experience

Note: 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC/ST Candidates.

2. Nationality

Salary/Stipend for IIT Delhi Project Scientist - I 2025

• HRA: 27% of basic pay per month
• Total Monthly Remuneration: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA @27% per month
• Employment Type: Contractual basis on consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier

Note: In case of selection of a retired/superannuated government employee, his/her salary will be fixed as per prevailing rules.
