Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Design and synthesis of low-valent main group and transition metal compounds
- Activation of small molecules including N2, H2, CO, CO2, and ethylene
- Training and mentoring M.Sc. and Ph.D. students in the laboratory
- Writing and publishing research manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals
- Contributing to ongoing research projects and collaborative initiatives
Minimum Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry: Degree awarded or thesis submitted from a reputed institute in India
- Academic Performance: Minimum 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onwards
- Class 12th & 10th: Minimum 55% or equivalent grade in both
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in Schlenk techniques (highly preferred)
- Experience in the synthesis of main group or organometallic compounds
- Proficiency with state-of-the-art analytical techniques for compound characterization
- Experience in spectroscopic analysis (NMR, IR, Mass spectrometry, X-ray crystallography, etc.)
- Good project management and communication skills
- Previous publication record in reputed journals
