Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: PhD + 10 years experience Or M.Tech + 15 years experience. One of the degrees should be either from IITs/ IISc or higher institutes with B.Tech/ B.E. degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 1. Dam Safety & Management. 2. Reservoir operation and Interlinking of rivers. 3. Solution of Dam problems in the field.

Salary/ Stipend

• Rs. 75,000/- to 2,50,000/- + HRA per month

General Information / Instructions

• Candidates before appearing for the interview shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.
• Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
• Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
• The prospective candidates are expected to contribute towards the following: Status report writing, updating, implementing in field, consultations with dam owners and stakeholders.

• Candidates desiring to appear for the Interview should submit their applications with the following documents to the office of the Principal Investigator through email, by post or produce at the time of the Interview:
• Application in a plain paper with detailed CV including chronological discipline of degree/certificates obtained.
• Experience including research, industrial field and others.
• Attested copies of degree/certificate and experience certificate.
• Candidate shall bring along with them the original degree(s)/certificate(s) and experience certificate(s) at the time of interview for verification.
• Walk-in-interview of the candidates will be held on 12 January 2026 at 10.00 A.M. in ICED, IIT Roorkee.
