Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

• B.Sc. in Physics/Applied Physics/Chemistry/Applied Chemistry

Experience:

• The candidate should have the experience in relevant area of the research project
• The candidate should have experience in handling of high end research instruments
• The experienced and qualified candidates will be preferred

Salary/ Stipend

• Rs.20,000/- per month with HRA (as per Govt. Fellowship rules)

Age Limit (as on 26 December 2025)

• The upper age limit for Project Assistant shall be 50 years as on 26 December 2025
• Age relaxation up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC applicants as per Govt. of India rules & regulations

General Information / Instructions

• Applications are invited from the Indian citizens for filling up two posts of Project Assistant sponsored by Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, in the research project entitled "Biomass nanocomposites with reduced volatile matter as the substitution of conventional coal for cofiring operation in thermal power plants"
• The above position is purely contractual and initially for a period of 1 year
• The continuation of the fellowship is subjected to satisfactory performance and review at the end of the year
• On satisfactory performance, the tenure of the fellowship may further be extended
• The candidates should carefully read these instructions before submitting the application
• Misrepresentation or hiding of facts, canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification/termination
• No interim enquiries will be attended by the Institute
• No TA/DA or any claim will be reimbursed/paid to candidate for attending the interview
