Eligibility Criteria

• Essential Qualifications (S-3): Doctoral Degree in Entomology from a recognized University or equivalent. 12 years experience in field of Medical Entomology
• Desirable (S-3): Training in advanced Medical Entomology / Malaria or Filariasis
• Essential Qualifications (S-2): Master's Degree in Zoology / Entomology from a recognized University or equivalent. 7 years experience in field of Medical Entomology
• Desirable (S-2): PhD in Medical Entomology / Malaria or Filariasis. Training in advanced Medical Entomology / Malaria or Filariasis
• Essential Qualifications (S-1): 1) M.Sc. degree in Zoology with Entomology of a recognized University or equivalent. 2) Three years experience in teaching and/or research and/or control in the field of Medical Entomology or Malariology or Filariology (Qualification relaxable at Union Public Service Commission's dicreation in case of candidates otherwise well qualified).
• Desirable (S-1): Training in advanced Medical Entomology/ Malariology on Filariology.

• Consultant Entomologist (S-3): Rs.78,800/- per month
• Consultant Entomologist (S-2): Rs.67,700/- per month
• Consultant Entomologist (S-1): Rs.56,100/- per month
