Eligibility Criteria

• Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science (Earth Sciences/Geology, Environmental Science, Geo-informatics, Geophysics, Geophysics etc.) OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course (Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrological Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, Remote Sensing & GIS, Computer Science etc.) selected through a process described through any one of the following:
  • National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship and GATE
  • National level examinations conducted by the Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with a strong research background and a good record of scientific publications will be given preference.

Salary/Stipend

• ₹37,000/- per month + HRA (as applicable)
