Eligibility Criteria

• Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR M.Tech/M.E. in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrological Engineering, Earth Sciences, Environmental Science, Geoinformatics, Geomatics, Geography, Geophysics, or other relevant disciplines
• Selected through process as follows: CSIR-UGC NET/SET (including Lectureship) or GATE, or through national-level exams by Central Government Departments/Agencies like DST, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
• Prior experience in project-related work desirable
• Strong research background and publication record preferred

Age Limit (as on 08-12-2025)

• Maximum age: 30 years as on walk-in date
• Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Women/Physically Handicapped as per Govt. of India rules

Salary/Stipend

• Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- per month
• HRA as per Institute/GOI rules
