Eligibility Criteria

• Essential qualifications: M.Sc./M.Tech (or equivalent) in Life Science / Microbiology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Marine Science (Biology) / Biological Sciences / Biochemistry / Zoology / Animal Science / Botany / Genetics / Environmental Science OR any other related branch with minimum 60% of marks or 6.5 CGPA in 10 point scale + Valid GATE score or NET certificate of CSIR/UGC/ICMR/DBT/ICAR (LS/JRF).
• Desirable: Prior experience in Microbiology / Biofilm biology / Bioremediation / Bacterial cell biology / Molecular biology / cell & molecular techniques (PCR, RT-PCR, Western Blotting, Immunofluorescence, spectroscopy, protein purification, bioactive microbial metabolites etc.)

Salary/Stipend

• ₹37,000/- per month (Year 1 & 2) + HRA as applicable

Age Limit (as on 21-12-2025)

• Maximum 28 years (relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/PWD/Female and 3 years for OBC-NCL)
