NIT Warangal JRF Recruitment 2025 Overview

Essential Qualification

• Category A: M.E./M.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical / Materials / Metallurgical / Energy Engineering / Nanotechnology or allied relevant fields
• Category B: M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry / Materials Science / Nanoscience & Nanotechnology or allied relevant fields
• Minimum Marks:
  • GEN / GEN-EWS / OBC-NCL: 60% or 6.5 CGPA (both UG & PG)
  • SC / ST / PwD: 55% or 6.0 CGPA (both UG & PG)
• Preference: Candidates with GATE qualification and prior expertise in energy storage

Age Limit (as on last date of application)

• GEN / GEN-EWS: Maximum 28 Years
• OBC-NCL: Maximum 31 Years
• SC / ST / PwD / Female candidates: Maximum 33 Years

Desired Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in energy storage devices (especially Zn-ion batteries)
• Knowledge of material synthesis, electrode fabrication, cell assembly, and characterization techniques (XRD, SEM, EIS, CV, GCD, etc.)

Salary & Benefits

• ₹50,000/- per month (Consolidated)
• Eligible candidates can register for Ph.D. at NIT Warangal (as per institute rules)
• No HRA or other allowances
