Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification (Project Assistant): B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA/BBA/MBA /B.Com./M.Com. or equivalent.
• Desirable Qualification (Project Assistant): Good working knowledge in MS Office.
• Experience (Project Assistant): Prior experience ranges from no prior experience for ₹20,000 per month, minimum 1 year for ₹25,000 per month, to minimum 2 years for ₹30,000 per month.
• Qualification (Visual/Video Editor): BVA or Diploma in Editing/ Masters in Electronic Media/ Media Science / Visual Communication/ Allied Branches.
• Desirable Qualification (Visual/Video Editor): Experience in Final Cut Pro (FCP 10); Adobe Premium pro; Velocity; Adobe After Effects; other relevant software.
• Experience (Visual/Video Editor): Prior experience ranges from no prior experience for ₹25,000 per month, minimum 1 year for ₹30,000 per month, minimum 2 years for ₹35,000 per month, to minimum 3 years for ₹40,000 per month.

Salary/ Stipend

• Project Assistant: ₹20,000- per month (consolidated) for candidates with no prior experience; ₹25,000/- per month (consolidated) for candidates with minimum 1 year experience; ₹30,000/- per month (consolidated) with minimum experience of 2 years.
• Visual/Video Editor: ₹25,000/- per month (consolidated) for candidates with no prior experience; ₹30,000/- per month (consolidated) for candidates with minimum 1 year experience; ₹35,000/- per month (consolidated) for candidates with minimum experience of 2 years; ₹40,000/- per month (consolidated) for candidates with minimum experience of 3 years.

Age Limit (as on 07 January 2026)

• Age limit is not above 45 years of age for both posts.

Selection Process

• Selection will be based on a walk-in interview process.

General Information / Instructions

• The posts are purely temporary for a period of 11 months and likely to extend based on the performance.
• It would not confer any right/claim explicit or implicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in NITTTR, Chennai.
• Pay fixation will be at the discretion of the competent authority.
• No travelling or any other allowances will be paid for attending the interview.
