अगर खाद की बात करें तो 8 किलोग्राम बीज की नर्सरी तैयार करने के लिए 150 किलोग्राम गोबर की सड़ी खाद, यूरिया 4-6 किलोग्राम, सिंगल सुपर फॉस्फेट 6 किलोग्राम (अगर डी ए पी प्रयोग करते हो 2 किलोग्राम), म्यूरेट ऑफ़ पोटाश 2 किलोग्राम व् जिंक सल्फेट 1 किलोग्राम (21%) देनी चाहिए |
