ಬಿತ್ತುವ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ 8 - 10 ಕಿ.ಗ್ರಾಂ ಬೀಜವನ್ನು ಬರ ನಿರೋಧಕ ಗುಣ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಶೇ. 2 ರ ಸುಣ್ಣದ ಕ್ಲೋರೈಡ್ದ್ರಾವಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಧ ತಾಸು ನೆನೆಸಿ, ನಂತರ ನೆರಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನಿಷ್ಟ 7 ತಾಸು ಒಣಗಿಸಬೇಕು.

Before sowing, soak the seeds in 2% calcium chloride for thirty minutes and shade dry the seeds for 7 - 8 hours, will increase resistance to drought.
