The scheme aims to support 7900 farmers / WSHGs for setting up of Broiler farms with a capacity of 500 birds – 3000 birds capacity per unit. The unit cost for one Broiler 500 bird capacity is Rs 1.80 lakh with a provision of 60% back ended subsidy to SC, ST , Women , transgender & PWD farmers & 50% back ended subsidy to General male on the unit cost. And assistance for new shelter will be optional for beneficiaries who have existing shelter under this scheme.
