PM-KISAN update: Govt runs saturation drive to include all eligible farmers by May 31
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare has launched a nationwide saturation drive for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme. The drive, which runs till May 31, 2025, aims to ensure that no eligible farmer is left out of the scheme’s benefits.
Under the PM-KISAN scheme, the central government provides ₹6,000 per year in three equal instalments to eligible farmers.
The 20th instalment of ₹2,000 is expected to be credited to beneficiaries' bank accounts in June 2025.
